Job Opening: Senior Video Editor and Graphic Designer
Location: Washington, USA
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Develop design concepts and implement designs for new web pages, WCMS templates, newsletters, games, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online.
- Select and use digital photos appropriately.
- Take an approved concept and build it in HTML/CSS.
- Use fundamental web publishing technologies such as JavaScript and jQuery.
- Produce and edit video content. Edit digital video is taken from the site, stock, and other platforms.
- Identify unique stories to engage audiences across platforms.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience with web design
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and HTML editors
- Experience with video editing tools, including Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Experience with sound editing and mixing
- Knowledge of social media platforms, including Twitter and Facebook
- Knowledge of writing and style guidelines for caption work
- Knowledge of 508 compliance
- Ability to manage an editing workflow through a full project life cycle
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- BA or BS degree
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience with developing graphics, illustrations, other creative materials for websites
- Experience with creating and managing responsive designs and WCMS templates
- Experience in working with online games and animations and with Flash to HTML5 conversion
- Experience with mobile interface design
- Experience with Unity Game Engine
- Experience with 3D modeling tools such as Blender
- Experience with C# language
- Experience with mobile coding, testing, and compliance
- Knowledge of design principles
- Ability to create and develop technical designs and specifications
- Ability to be a strong team player
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
