Job Opening: Rigging Artist

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Development of real-time rigs for characters and animals, based on mocap data
  • Integration and optimization of rigs in the engine
  • Support character team by debugging rig related issues
  • Update and maintain rigging library and documentation

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Good understanding of rigging and joint mechanics
  • A minimum of 4 years experience in the video game or movie industry
  • Good knowledge of Maya, 3DSMAX, Motion Builder, and constraints related to rigging on this software.
  • Knowledge of languages: Python, MaxScript, PyMel, … is a plus.
  • Proactivity around the problems of rig and skinning inherent to the video game
  • Autonomous, organized and with excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach
  • Adaptability, especially in terms of quality and time constraints
  • Comprehensive understanding of human anatomy
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving ability
