Rotomaker is expanding its senior bidding division and launching immediate recruitment for an experienced Bidding Supervisor Paint. Based on-site at their studio facility in Hyderabad, India, this full-time role is structured specifically for industry veterans holding over ten years of active visual effects experience. If you are a technical supervisor who excels at evaluating complex shot setups, tiering project difficulties, and defining accurate time/resource estimations, this position provides a high-level operational platform.
Selected candidates will lead shot evaluations and interface directly with international clients to decode scope requirements into viable technical strategies. The studio environment values deep pipeline integration, modern AI tool usage, and creative problem-solving, offering a dynamic space for bidding leaders to streamline outsourcing operations.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
The Bidding Supervisor will manage shot assessment and technical strategy across several key modules:
- Complexity Tiering & Estimation: Analyze incoming client turnover plates to accurately tier shot complexity, calculate time frames, and define resource allocation needs.
- Client Strategy & Communication: Decode client specifications clearly, formulate technical prep/paint strategies, and ensure bid structures reflect creative expectations.
- Workflow & AI Integration: Leverage advanced AI tools and modern compositing techniques to optimize shot execution strategies and accelerate internal pipeline delivery loops.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Candidates applying for this Hyderabad-based post must satisfy the following technical criteria:
- VFX Experience: 10+ years of hands-on visual effects industry experience with deep knowledge of prep, paint, and compositing pipelines (Compositing knowledge is mandatory).
