ident VFXlab is expanding its creative team in Kochi and launching a recruitment drive for Compositing Artists with ComfyUI expertise. The studio is looking for artists across multiple experience tiers—Junior, Mid, and Senior—who are eager to work on exciting projects using cutting-edge, AI-assisted workflows. If you want to merge classic visual effects fundamentals with progressive real-time generation frameworks, this role provides an ideal platform for professional growth.
Selected artists will join a highly collaborative and creative work environment focused on maintaining strict cinematic quality benchmarks. You will work closely with the production pipeline to deliver consistent, high-fidelity shots while integrating modern machine-learning tools directly into standard node-based structures.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Artists will handle diverse tasks across the studio’s advanced visual effects pipeline:
- Shot Finaling: Handle everyday VFX compositing tasks, including keying, roto, clean-up, CG integration, set extension, and color matching with quality and consistency.
- AI Integration: Use AI-assisted tools and node workflows to enhance creativity, optimize speed, and scale up visual assets.
- Pipeline Discipline: Maintain highly organized project files, follow creative feedback loops accurately, and meet studio delivery standards.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Applicants must demonstrate standard technical skills alongside modern production familiarity:
- Core Software Suite: Strong foundational knowledge of compositing mechanics and professional operational command of Nuke.
- AI Toolset Mastery: Practical, functional knowledge of ComfyUI is required to operate within the studio’s specialized tracks.
- Additional Advantages: Active experience with general AI workflows, Stable Diffusion pipeline exposure, and using AI tools for matte generation, clean-up, or look dev.
- Professional Traits: A keen eye for detail, deep understanding of depth, lighting, grain, and integration, paired with a team-oriented attitude.
