A premier visual effects house is expanding its post-production line for an upcoming feature project and is seeking 5 Senior Nuke Compositors for immediate, contractual onboarding in Mumbai. This role is tailored for veteran digital artists who possess a sophisticated understanding of node-based compositing architectures, photographic continuity, and complex scene assembly.
You will be responsible for bringing high-end live-action plates and advanced CG assets together seamlessly into a single, cohesive final frame. If you can maintain exceptional artistic judgment and technical speed inside a high-volume studio workflow, we want to evaluate your showreel.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-end node-based compositing to achieve seamless integration of live-action plates, 3D elements, and digital environments.
- Oversee full shot finishing, including color grading matching, grain integration, and atmosphere balancing.
- Collaborate with tracking, layout, and lighting teams to troubleshoot asset alignment and render layer anomalies.
- Supervise quality and accuracy benchmarks for automated roto/prep deliveries before final integration.
- Maintain consistent output speeds and handle high-priority, complex sequences under aggressive studio deadlines.
Requirements & Technical Skills
- Experience: Proven track record acting as a senior-tier compositor within feature film VFX or premium post-production pipelines.
- Software Mastery: Advanced, expert-level proficiency in Foundry Nuke and its native node ecosystems.
- Technical Competency: Profound understanding of color space standards, dynamic lighting models, camera focal behaviors, and projection math.
- Pipeline Overview: Practical knowledge of upstream disciplines, specifically tracking, digital matte painting, and multi-pass deep rendering workflows.
- Availability: Position requires immediate availability for a dedicated 3-month contract cycle.
