Little Black Star Visual Effects in Mangalagiri is looking for mid-level Paint and Roto specialists to join their production team. We are seeking artists who have a refined eye for detail and the technical capability to handle complex prep-work and matting independently. Paint Artist – Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-end paint and prep tasks including wire/rig removal and blemish fixes.
- Reconstruct background plates and missing details seamlessly using 2D and 2.5D techniques.
- Manage complex motion elements, including reflections, shadows, and interactive lighting.
- Ensure strict shot continuity and technical accuracy across sequences.
Roto Artist – Key Responsibilities
- Generate high-precision rotoscoping and garbage mattes for complex VFX shots.
- Successfully handle technical challenges such as fine hair detail, heavy motion blur, and transparency.
- Deliver flicker-free, production-ready mattes with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a deep understanding of depth and volume within the stereoscopic or mono pipeline.
Technical Requirements
- Experience: Mid-level professional experience in a VFX studio pipeline.
- Software: Proficiency in industry-standard tools.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the patience required for high-volume, high-detail work.
- Collaboration: Ability to work on-site and integrate effectively with the wider compositing team.
