Job Openings: Animation, Art, & Backend Engineering Roles

Climax Studios and The Multiplayer Group (MPG) are expanding their creative and technical teams. We are seeking passionate professionals for high-end game development projects across our UK studio locations. Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time.
Open Positions & Requirements
Animation & Art (On-site: Edinburgh, Liverpool, or Portsmouth)
- Technical Animator: Experienced in character pipelines, animation systems, and cinematics.
- Motion Capture Animator: Expert in Motionbuilder, Maya, and Unreal Engine (UE).
- Technical Artist: Specialist with in-depth knowledge of shaders and post-process effects.
- Junior Environment Artists (March Start): Skilled in realistic textures and props using Maya, Blender, and Substance.
- Junior Character Artists (March/April/May Start): Proficiency with MetaHuman is absolutely essential.
Engineering (Remote – UK Based Only)
- Principal Backend Engineer: Senior-level leadership for MPG’s engineering team (January start).
- Senior Backend Engineer: High-level backend development for multiplayer systems (January start).
Important: All candidates must be UK-based. Art and Animation roles are fully on-site; Backend roles offer remote flexibility within the UK.
