Job Opening: Deputy Editor

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the writers who will cover all social media articles, Rehashes, and soft stories – across Bollywood, Television, and OTT (and if we expand to other verticals).
- Will be the contact person for the agency who will guide us to a leading position by publishing timely content and making the most of any event.
- Be the point of contact for all events that are happening.
- Connected to all PR agencies and managers in the industry.
- See that everything is covered on time and published on our platforms.
- Mentor, motivate, and make the team perform to their maximum potential.
- Check all the text to ensure it is well written and logically structured, published, and shared on Social.
- Check headlines, see that they are SEO friendly, and correct grammar and spelling.
- Fact-checking – Check facts and raise queries with the author, if need be call/message the stars to verify the stories.
- Ensure the text is in line with the pre-set style of the website/ publication.
- Check if the imagery and captions attached to all the content are correct.
- Look for potential legal problems and avoid or discuss them out if you choose to take the risk.
