Job Opening: Rotoscopy Artist

Responsibilities:
- Use Silhouette, Nuke to create and track roto shapes and lines for various elements within a shot.
- Comprehend written notes with visual cues and execute the work with minimal direction.
- Further ability to analyze a problem within a shot and understand what elements require roto and tracking to make the fix.
- Excellent knowledge of roto shapes and lines using Sihoutte or similar applications such as Nuke, Mocha Pro.
- Strong artistic aesthetic and eye for detail.
- Trace the areas of live-action frames where computer graphics will overlap or interact with live images.
- This creates clear areas (mattes) within the frame to allow all elements of the scene to be layered convincingly.
- Responsible for creating mattes that accurately reflect the motion of particular objects over a series of frames.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience preferably in Hollywood VFX.
- Must have a willingness to learn new tools, a proven ability to be detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and to work efficiently within a production environment.
- Completes the allotted project within the given man-days as per client requirements, and maintains quality standards set by the company.
- Good team player and helps team members to learn and grow. Self-motivated, an initiator, and results-oriented.
- Should be able to take ownership of the project and complete the same before the deadline.
- Able to understand the clear instructions from the client and provide the desired output.
- Does Self-review/quality checks for accuracy.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Software Knowledge: Silhouette, Nuke, and Mocha Pro.
