Job Opening: Visual Effects Editor
Location: Montreal/London/India – Remote
Type: Part-Time
Responsibilities:
- Conform and prep plates from offline edits.
- Maintain shot lists, cut changes, and editorial breakdowns.
- Prep review files with frame-accurate overlays and temp comps.
- Manage EDLs, timecode sync, and client editorial turnovers.
- Align editorial deliveries with ShotGrid (Flow).
Qualifications & Skills:
- DaVinci Resolve or similar editorial tracking tools.
- ShotGrid (Flow) or similar production tracking tools.
- EDL/XML/AAF workflows and EXR-based turnovers.
- Remote, async workflows across multiple time zones.
- Fast iterations, clean data, and editorial sanity.
- ACES and OCIO color management.
- Editorial packaging for VFX pulls and deliveries.
- Versioning tools, media automation, or Python basics.
