Job Opening: Capture Technician
Location: Manchester, United Kingdom
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Capture data with Face and Body scanners.
- Provide Facial Action Coding System (FACS) direction.
- Work on data ingestion and processing.
- Capture and process Reference data (IBL).
- Collect data for R&D purposes.
- Work on improvements and maintenance of scanning spaces and devices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Understanding of scanning technology and data processing techniques (Photogrammetry).
- Knowledge of Agisoft Metashape or Reality Capture, Autodesk, Maya, or similar, and Photoshop of a similar.
- Knowledge of DSLR or machine vision cameras.
- A methodically consistent approach to repetitive tasks; values accuracy and acute attention to detail.
- Ability to locate and troubleshoot hardware issues before and during scanning.
- Basic technical knowledge of low-voltage AC and DC systems, including standard wiring and device connections.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to respectfully interact with co-workers at all levels in a professional environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
