Job Opening: Senior Rendering Programmer [Mid-Senior Level]
Location: Brisbane, Australia
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Understand and support the needs of technical artists and visual teams.
- Implement and optimize rendering techniques to enhance game graphics.
- Develop and maintain graphics features such as shaders, lighting, and post-processing effects.
- Write and maintain custom rendering code and shaders (HLSL, GLSL, etc.).
- Ensure consistent visual quality and performance across PC, console, and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate closely with artists, technical artists, and engineering teams.
- Optimize assets and rendering pipelines for cross-platform compatibility.
- Work primarily with Unreal Engine, C++, and shader languages.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of programming experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++.
- Solid experience with shader languages (HLSL, GLSL, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of rendering technologies (materials, post-processing, rendering pipelines).
- Proven track record with Unreal Engine.
- Experience in performance optimization and profiling across platforms.
- Good hardware knowledge (mobile, PC, console).
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with technical art and visual teams.
- Prior experience in game development is required.
