Job Opening: Senior Rendering Programmer [Mid-Senior Level]

Location: Brisbane, Australia

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and support the needs of technical artists and visual teams.
  • Implement and optimize rendering techniques to enhance game graphics.
  • Develop and maintain graphics features such as shaders, lighting, and post-processing effects.
  • Write and maintain custom rendering code and shaders (HLSL, GLSL, etc.).
  • Ensure consistent visual quality and performance across PC, console, and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with artists, technical artists, and engineering teams.
  • Optimize assets and rendering pipelines for cross-platform compatibility.
  • Work primarily with Unreal Engine, C++, and shader languages.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of programming experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C++.
  • Solid experience with shader languages (HLSL, GLSL, etc.).
  • In-depth understanding of rendering technologies (materials, post-processing, rendering pipelines).
  • Proven track record with Unreal Engine.
  • Experience in performance optimization and profiling across platforms.
  • Good hardware knowledge (mobile, PC, console).
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills with technical art and visual teams.
  • Prior experience in game development is required.
