Job Opening: VFX Quality & Workflow Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Netflix India VFX team across the full production lifecycle—from early planning to final delivery.
- Review and provide creative + technical feedback on shots, ensuring alignment with Netflix quality standards.
- Help interpret creative intent from directors and production teams into actionable, VFX-executable guidance.
- Collaborate with vendors and local studios to identify workflow gaps and suggest scalable, future-ready improvements.
- Share learnings across shows and help implement lightweight tools, templates, or practices that reduce friction and improve efficiency.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, including real-time rendering, virtual production, machine learning-based solutions, and other workflow innovations, and assess their relevance to our productions.
- Offer early guidance on bids, scope, and execution strategies to support fair, transparent, and efficient vendor engagement.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Post, Production, and Creative, to ensure seamless VFX delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 7–10 years of experience in high-end VFX as a VFX Supervisor, CG Supervisor, or senior artist.
- Deep understanding of VFX pipelines, workflows, and production dynamics.
- Strong creative and technical instincts, with an eye for believability and storytelling impact.
- Skilled at bridging creative ideas and technical execution, especially when translating feedback for vendors.
- Collaborative, clear communicator who builds trust across teams and studios.
- Proficient in tools such as Nuke, ShotGrid, Frame.io, RV, and other cloud-based review systems, with working knowledge of Unreal Engine, Houdini, basic scripting, and experience using Google Workspace and Excel.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving problems calmly and practically.
- Brings clarity, maturity, and technical confidence into complex conversations.
- On-set experience or involvement in early production planning is a plus.
