Job Opening: Junior Storyboard Artist
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Develop clear, engaging storyboards that align with the project’s creative vision.
- Collaborate with directors and art teams to refine visual storytelling, including shot composition and character blocking.
- Revise boards efficiently based on feedback to enhance storytelling clarity.
- Ensure consistency in style, character design, and scene continuity.
- Assist in pre-visualization and animatic creation to test story flow.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 0–2 years of experience (internships, freelance, or academic projects welcome).
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Storyboard Pro, Storyboarder, or equivalent tools.
- Foundational understanding of cinematography, composition, and sequential storytelling.
- Strong drawing skills with a focus on perspective, anatomy, and expressive character poses.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving creative needs.
- A portfolio demonstrating storytelling chops, including sequential panels and shot breakdowns.
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with animation principles or 3D pre-viz software (e.g., Blender, Maya).
- Basic knowledge of editing tools (Premiere, After Effects) for animatics.
