Job Opening: Game Producer
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative and technical teams responsible for game development, all the way from prototyping to Live-Ops.
- Have in-depth knowledge of the game, its design, mechanics, and content.
- Help establish project and sprint priorities with the game director.
- Act as the scrum master for sprint planning and review meetings.
- Work closely with production, art, design, engineering leads & QA to drive quality.
- Strive to maintain and improve team wellbeing, morale, and cohesion.
- Be the point of contact for external production teams such as QA, porting, and localization.
- Be an active participant in design reviews, with particular regard to quality and schedule.
- Ensure the team has the best organizational structure, processes, and practices that allow them to produce high-quality work efficiently and on schedule.
- Drive, create, and refine the game experience to achieve and/or exceed the desired quality standard.
- Work closely with the game director to ensure the vision for the game is accomplished.
- Build and grow your team of game developers, technical artists, concept artists, 3D artists, and sound designers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Game Production or working in a production role where you’ve managed cross-functional teams in the creation and delivery of complex projects.
- Shipped two or more games on different platforms.
- Deep understanding of game development, software development process, and project management practices.
- Solid project management skills that allow you to deliver on scope, performance, and budget without compromising vision and final quality.
- Have the ability to communicate with varying levels of stakeholders, within your team and throughout the company.
- Ability to make the trade-off decisions necessary to effectively balance short-term needs and long-term vision.
- Interest and/or insatiable passion for all things VR.
- The capacity to manage, motivate, and work with a team under pressure and adapt to change.
