Job Opening: Internship – Animation Production Management
Location: Mid-City, Los Angeles
Type: Internship
Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of the Animation Production process and pipeline
- Learn various production software: Shotgrid, Flix, FilemakerPro, SharePoint, etc.
- Support and assist daily needs of production departments in the various stages
- Attend production meetings or film screenings – assist with taking, logging, and distribution of notes
- Maintain and organize filing systems
- Track statuses and maintain awareness of production timeline
- Handling confidential correspondence, reports, and other documents
- + much more!
- Ad hoc duties as necessary
Qualifications & Skills:
- Available for a 10-week hybrid program running Monday, June 9 – Friday, August 15
- Must be available full-time (9:00 AM-6:00 PM PT) on-site Monday – Thursday (reasonable accommodations may be considered)
- Must be enrolled at an accredited institution for the duration of internship participation
- Passion for the Animation/Entertainment industry, focus on Production a plus
- Proficiency in Google tools and MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Self-starter with proficient writing and critical thinking skills, attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced media environment
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
