Job Opening: Core Game Designer (Game modes)
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Develop new game modes for an upcoming PVP action game.
- Analyze game modes and trends in other games.
- Balance existing game modes.
- Interact with other teams that are involved in the game modes development process (in particular, with the level designers and level artists).
- Regularly play-test the game.
- Organize the work of a compact team to new and engaging modes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience developing game modes within a commercial project or creating mods for third-party action games.
- Game design experience with action games.
- Experience as a “feature-owner” (from concept to release with the analysis of players’ reactions).
- Rich gaming experience in multiplayer games (e.g. Fall Guys, Stumble Guys, Brawl Stars, Duck Game, Fortnite) and fighting games (e.g. Brawlhalla, Super Smash Bros.).
- Fluent communication in Russian is required.
- Would be a plus:
- Experience working with Unity its systems: Mecanim, Rigidbody.
- Experience designing levels (ProBuilder or its analogs).
- C#, C/C++ programming skills.
