Lead Animator:
Description:
- Our Lead Animator is responsible for maintaining the high quality of animation, providing animation feedback under the Animation Director and direction of the show creatives.
- Our production is partnered with an overseas studio, so alongside the Animation Director, this person is helping review the shots coming back for review.
- Some additional tasks are building the animation library, testing, and providing feedback on the character rigs.
- The Lead Animator ensures that all deliverables align with each show’s established look and schedule.
2D Effects Artist:
Description:
- We are looking for a 2D Effects Compositor to work closely with the CG Supervisor and Lighting/Compositing Supervisor.
- You will digitally create and composite 2D Effects and scenes that maintain the continuity of the series and align with the production’s schedule.
- Our ideal candidate is proficient in After Effects, is familiar with a CG pipeline, and is interested in applying their work into a CG pipeline involving Nuke.
Storyboard Artist:
Description:
- As the Storyboard Artist, you will be working closely with the Director to illustrate the story, plan shots, and draw panels to demonstrate the action and maintain continuity between scenes.
- We put a strong emphasis on clear staging and expressive character posing and acting.
- We will be looking for the most entertaining way of presenting the story.
- Storyboard Artists will be using Storyboard Pro and also be pitching their boards to the client.
AFX Artist:
Description:
- In this position, you will be collaborating alongside the Director and Supervisors to design and create the style of AFX for a 2D series.
- You must ensure that production deadlines are met while producing work that meets the quality standards of the project.
- A proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Flash/Animate is required.
Editor:
Description:
- The Editor will be responsible for assembling storyboard drawings, audio, and music, then timing them out to produce a finished animatic.
- This job will require making adjustments to the edit as needed based on feedback from the Director.
- As Editor, you must have strong technical and creative editorial skills and an excellent understanding of pacing and storytelling.
- Ideal candidates will have experience working in broadcast, preferably in animation, and will be proficient with Adobe Premiere.
