Job Opening: 3D Character Modelers
Location: Nelson, British Columbia
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Low-poly modeling & hand-painting textures for 3D characters.
- Organic modeling/sculpting for humanoids and creatures.
- Optimize models, refine geometry & produce high-quality Normal maps.
- Take feedback and make required changes.
- Collaborate with minimal supervision to solve technical and creative challenges.
- Align with design fundamentals and artistic direction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Deep understanding of character design, anatomy & structure.
- Proficiency in ZBrush, Maya, Blender, Substance Painter/Designer, and Photoshop.
- Strong UV mapping, texturing, and material-setting skills.
- Adaptable, team player with great professionalism and eagerness to learn.
Bonus Skills:
- 2D/3D concept skills
- Experience in visual effects & rigging
