Job Opening: Graphic Designer
Location: Apex, North Carolina, US
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Taking and interpreting briefs from internal team members and external clients
- Delivering design and artwork for specified projects and briefs, in a variety of media types
- Supporting all other divisions of the business with design artwork services
- Creating impactful 2D designs and layouts for print and digital applications including signage, collateral, large format, web and digital screens
- Accurately interpreting and applying brand and visual identity guidelines across all 2D design deliverables to ensure uniform on-brand visual communication
- Formulating concepts, delivering solutions and producing final graphical content for screen
- Contributing to the introduction of new technologies in the delivery of presentations and on-screen graphics
- Working closely with the creative teams to provide innovative project results
- Continuing your professional development by keeping up to date with new and emerging design trends
- Being flexible – you don’t mind taking on different duties to get projects over the line and are willing to work outside normal office hours (maybe even across the US and overseas) if needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- At least five years of experience in graphic design
- Strong design and creative conceptual design skills
- Strong layout and typography skills
- Superb attention to detail
- Good knowledge of design applications including Adobe CS (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and good knowledge of Apple Keynote
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system, and Apple OS
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel
- The ability to competently co-ordinate digital files
- Proficiency in project logistics and organization
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Incredible communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Experience with animation projects and software packages (After Effects, Cinema 4D, Unreal) would be a real bonus, as would a basic understanding of video and audio editing
- Experience as a graphics operator for live events would be even better!
