Job Opening: Senior 3D Environment Artist
Location: Shanghai, China
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and elevate the quality of 3D environment assets, continuously refining their look and feel to meet the highest standards
- Enhance and push concept designs to the next level by considering technical and design limitations, including polygon budgets and texture memory constraints
- Work with outsourcing partners to build a stable production pipeline
- Work with both design and technical constraints to develop level art using the existing level system, while consistently exploring and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible within the system
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure all assets align with the project’s vision
Qualifications & Skills:
- Hands-on experience in building Level art with Unreal engine
- Expert experience in creating stylized PBR modeling, sculpting, texturing, and materials
- Experience with 3D software (e.g., Maya, 3DS Max, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer, etc.)
- Passionate about (mobile) games
- A proactive doer who takes responsibility and pride in their work when given the freedom to work independently
- Strong cross-discipline communication skills
- A great teammate – we believe making games is a team sport
