Job Opening: Senior Animator – Freelancer
Location: Remote EU, Stockholm, London, Hamburg
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Animating everything from hero creatures to spaceships and background characters with great attention to detail
- Taking scenes from idea to final animation, including previs and layout
- Sometimes being the sole animator on smaller projects and sometimes being a part of a bigger animation team
- Proactively engaging with other departments regarding the shots you are working on
- Work on some of the coolest shows in the business with some of the most talented colleagues
Qualifications & Skills:
- A passion for creatures, VFX, and realistic, hand-keyed animation
- A sense of initiative and ability to take ownership of your work
- Thorough knowledge of the basic animation principles
- An interest in editing and filmmaking
- The ability to work in an organized fashion to be able to take over other people’s work as well as handing over your work to a colleague
- As English is our main language in production, you need to be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken
