Job Opening: Art Director (Creative)

Responsibilities:
- Lead creative output from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality deliverables for product campaigns and making critical decisions on the quality of ideas.
- Provides direct mentorship and guidance to junior designers and art directors. Develops the skills and talents of the creative team members. Fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Own and execute growth and high-priority projects, ensuring they align with the brand’s vision and objectives.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Develop and implement strategic art direction that elevates the brand’s visual identity. Maintain rigorous quality control standards, reviewing and approving all creative work to ensure it meets brand guidelines and project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and content, to ensure cohesive and impactful creative outputs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative design techniques to keep our brand at the forefront of the market.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Art Direction, or a related field with preferably >5 years of experience
- High technical proficiency and expertise in Adobe suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with experience coaching junior team members. This role will not directly manage initially, but may become a manager as a growth opportunity.
- A strong portfolio showcasing art direction and design work. We seek talent with a vision for Secretlab that inspires—a strong understanding of brand development and multi-channel marketing concepts.
- You can defend creative ideas without being defensive by building strong rationale through data, research, storytelling, and how ideas hit business/brief objectives. You’re open to compromise but prepared to stand your ground where logical.
- Deep understanding of all major Social Media platforms (dimensions, consumer behavior, theme overhauls, etc.) Facebook, Instagram, X and Google advertising, as well as vertical platforms like Tiktok, IG Reels and YT Shorts
- Outstanding communication skills: written, verbal, and visual, with the ability to justify your concepts and design choices.
- Strong creative problem-solving skills: Understanding, analyzing and working through a challenge to completion.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects
- A perfectionist at heart with attention to detail

- Experience with working with 3D software (Blender, C4D) or Video software (After Effects, Premiere Pro) to communicate with our 3D team and video specialists.
- Interest in the consumer tech/gaming/esports/anime industry.
