Job Opening: Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of Bandai Namco Entertainment America’s culture and execute and administer HR programs to ensure employees are treated fairly and with respect to our company’s values, policies, and applicable laws.
  • Provides project management support for the development, implementation, and completion of HR initiatives.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from employees and leaders referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate personnel.
  • Partner and coach managers in the proactive management of but not limited to performance management; employee relations investigations and resolutions; productivity, recognition, and morale; training and development; compensation; and Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting, including managing postings, scheduling interviews, administering assessments, extending offers, and preparing new hire paperwork.
  • Administer the onboarding process for new hires and off-boarding of departing employees.
  • Serves as primary partner with external counsel for immigration-related matters.
  • Anticipate training & development needs, develop plans & programs, and partner with L&D stakeholders accordingly.
  • Plan and coordinate employee performance evaluations, merit increases, and promotions.
  • Ensures the compensation program is properly administered and works with management to resolve compensation issues.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Perform other human resources duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • High integrity, tact, a positive attitude, and an ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills; able to communicate confidently, articulately, and with precision
  • Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws and standards
  • Able and willing to learn and share information
  • Comfortable in both working in detail and understanding the big picture; able to consider the ramifications of decisions on various constituencies

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Greenhouse is highly desirable
  • Proven competency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Human Resources experience in an entertainment or technology company
