Job Opening: Senior Animator
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Consistently creating outstanding animations that portray character personalities consistent with the style and vision as laid out by the Lead Animator and/or Animation Supervisor
- Continually push the quality of animations
- Completing animations within scheduled timeframes
- Completing required revisions and modifying shots as directed by the Lead Animator or Animation Supervisor
- Actively participating in determining various aesthetic solutions
- Providing feedback to other members of the animation team
- Mentoring and training new Insert Coin Animators and may supervise the work of Apprentice and Junior Animators
- Adhering to Insert Coin pipeline processes
- Providing constructive continuous improvement feedback
- Attending relevant meetings and participating as required
- Actively participating in the Insert Coin Alcanzar Framework
- Cooperating with all policies and procedures of Insert Coin
- Completing any other duties as directed, commensurate with the scope and classification of the position
Qualifications & Skills:
- Deep understanding and capability in Maya animation tools
- Confidence and creativity in animation
- Good eye for animation principles and details
- Expertise in anatomy and body mechanics
- Outstanding knowledge of traditional animation principles, acting, film production, and compositional design
- Fast learner, with good initiative and drive for results
- Able to adapt to multiple animation styles
- Open to and welcoming of direction and ability to embrace change
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills including the ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with internal teams
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment when making decisions
- Demonstrated ability to liaise (and/or negotiate with) internal and external clients
- At least 4 years of relevant experience supported by a reel
- Ability to lead human resources
