Job Opening: Junior CGI Artist
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Modeling and lighting interior 3D scenes from scratch, with reference to CAD drawings and interior design mood boards and scheme drawings.
- Modeling residential architecture, from terraced housing to multi-story urban buildings.
- Modeling site landscaping from technical 2D drawings
- Creating realistic and detailed models from physical product samples and references.
- Creating carefully color-corrected scans and textures for use on product models.
- 3D scanning of assets to be converted into photorealistic assets.
- File management and cataloging of our extensive 3D asset library.
- Creating and manipulating existing 3D scenes and importing props and styling assets under the instruction of our in-house stylists.
- Submitting and tracking renders through the render farm.
- Managed digital file storage and followed accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications & Skills:
- This is a Junior/ Lightweight role and would suit a candidate with less than 2 years of professional experience or a recent graduate.
- Preferably a degree in a CGI-related subject.
- A portfolio of high-quality CGI work created under deadlines.
- Experience of working in a professional office-based environment is preferable but not essential.
- Experience within an architectural practice or construction industry would be an advantage, but not essential
- An interest in art/architecture and an understanding of design principles is critical.
- Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, composition, and visual narrative
