Job Opening: CG Supervisor
Location: Pérols, France
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Production Supervision: Supervise all stages of CGI production, including modeling, animation, shading, lighting, rendering, and compositing.
- Art Direction: Work closely with the Art Director to ensure the creative vision of the project is respected throughout the production process.
- Team Management: Supervise and lead teams of 3D artists, provide constructive feedback, resolve technical issues and ensure deadlines are met.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Work closely with the pre-production, production and post-production departments to ensure a smooth transition between the different stages of the project.
- Technical Monitoring: Ensure the technical quality of the work produced, ensuring that the studio’s norms and standards are respected.
- Innovation and Improvement: Research and implement new technologies, tools and methods to improve the efficiency and quality of production.
- Training and Development: Participate in the ongoing training of teams, by sharing expertise and encouraging skills improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in 3D animation, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D software such as Maya, Houdini, Blender, 3ds Max, and Nuke, and rendering engines such as Arnold, Redshift, or V-Ray. Knowledge of production pipelines.
- Artistic Skills: Strong skills in composition, lighting, color, and design. Ability to interpret and realize the artistic vision of the project.
- Leadership: Excellent ability to lead and motivate a team. Project management and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and clients.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to rapid changes in a dynamic production environment.
