Job Opening: VFX Supervisor
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the director and producers to understand the creative vision and visual requirements of the project
- Identify and resolve any creative issues that arise during the VFX production process
- Predict timing and associated costs of projects on varying scales
- Provide artistic and technical direction to the VFX team to achieve the desired visual effects
- Work closely with the VFX department to identify process improvements and collaborate with TD’s
- Work closely with production, set up the creation process of projects, and help with the schedule
- Central to client meetings when pitching for, running, or delivering projects
- Responsible for on-set shoot supervision
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team, maintaining a positive attitude while anticipating, and proactively addressing issues
- Proven experience as a VFX Supervisor
- Ability to supervise and assign tasks to a production team
- A thorough understanding of the VFX pipeline is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills
- A highly innate understanding of client needs
