Job Opening: Principal Full Stack Engineer
Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- The role of the Principal Engineer is to enable the team to make the right choices in terms of solutions and technology as well as keep an eye on the implementation.
- Hard problems like systems integration, data integrity, optimization, and other aspects of software development where experience is vital will primarily fall under this role. Rapid prototyping of ideas also falls under the same role.
Qualifications & Skills:
- University Degree in CS, CE, or closely related
- At least 10 years of experience writing code professionally
- A good understanding of all common data structures and the ability to write complex algorithms
- Ability to design complex software systems with multiple parts across multiple technologies
- Excellent skills in optimizing systems for speed, memory, storage, or operating costs
- Some degree of familiarity with modern web technologies and solution patterns including service providers for hosted services such as IAAS, PAAS or more specialized services (e.g. search, storage, DB, caching, etc)
- While knowing our stack is definitely an advantage, it is not by any means a disqualifying factor:
- Python 3, Django, JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js, Express
- Other technologies and services: Universal Web Apps, Machine Learning, Celery, RabbitMQ, Redis, Heroku, AWS, Algolia, CDN’s
