Job Opening: Concept Artist
Location: Royal Leamington Spa, UK
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Lead Concept Artist and fellow artists to create inspiring concept art that informs and communicates the vision for the game
- Support the Lead Concept Artist and Art Director in developing the look and feel of our game worlds, levels, and characters
- Quickly generate sketches & production-ready concepts describing the new assets to the rest of the art team
- Create concept art for characters, environments, and other creative assets
Qualifications & Skills:
- Great understanding of anatomy, atmospherics, scale, composition, perspective, lighting, and color
- An up-to-date portfolio that demonstrates your skills and experience
- Proficient experience with Adobe Photoshop
- Proficient experience with Blender or other 3D software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Managing tasks and completing work to assigned deadlines
- Some experience with Unreal Engine 5
- Ability to storyboard or sketch proficiently
- Industry experience as a Concept Artist
