Job Opening: CFX Supervisor
Location: Paris, France
Type: Fixed-term contract
Responsibilities:
- Guarantee the technical and artistic qualities of the simulations
- Guarantee the performance of the entire department
- Collaborate in the development of the department’s tools and workflow alongside the Dev/TD team
- Deploy the department’s roadmap according to production priorities and the projects to be implemented
- Coordinate the CFX team and guarantee the artistic and technical coherence of the work while respecting the schedule for each project:
- Review/bids of Hair & Cloth plans and set-ups, identification of manufacturing sites, and proposal of solutions in order to meet deadlines
- Definition of team priorities and objectives with the help of Production
- Presentation of the department’s shots to directors in Review CFX
- Daily monitoring of leads and graphic designers and ensuring feedback from production
- Optimization of resources by identifying possible pooling
- Anticipate departmental issues related to construction sites and project challenges
- Define the human needs of your department and get involved in the recruitment stages alongside production supervision and the Talent Acquisition team
- Play a model and exemplary role with your team to ensure cohesion, and respect for internal procedures but also for members of other departments
- During annual interview campaigns, support salary discussions for your team in collaboration with production management and support from the HR department
- Preparation/participation in weekly Sups meetings
- Participation in Sups Lead Sheets

Qualifications & Skills:

- Solid experience in CFX on CG, Animation, or VFX projects
- Several team management experiences
- Autonomy in decision-making while respecting production parameters
- Ability to take into account the needs and requirements of different departments to find solutions
- Actively participates in developing the skills of members of his department
- Ability to be a driving force in a team and ensure group cohesion and initiative
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proactivity and good adaptability
