Job Opening: Pipeline Developer
Location: London, England, UK
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Pipeline Supervisor & creative team to design and implement tools and workflows as part of an innovative, flexible and agile VFX pipeline.
- Provide day-to-day support to the creative and production teams, working across a variety of high-end VFX projects.
- Create testable, efficient, and reusable code by using best-in-class software development practices
- Implement and enforce rigorous version control practices
- Maintain existing tools, including troubleshooting and optimization
- Create & maintain documentation
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technological advancements
Qualifications & Skills:
- You have experience developing tools for a range of industry-standard DCCs, including Maya, Houdini, and Nuke.
- You have a good understanding of the entire VFX pipeline.
- You are an experienced Python Developer
- You have an understanding of software development practices.
- You enjoy collaborating with artists and thrive on delivering robust solutions.
- You are an excellent problem solver and can troubleshoot a wide range of issues effectively.
- You have a working knowledge of Linux.
- You are a great multi-tasker, able to balance priorities effectively.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You are solutions-orientated and want to innovate.
- You enjoy working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- A Computer Science Degree would be a plus.
