Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a technical director in the field of special effects and CFX pipeline
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve technical issues effectively
- Skills in designing and troubleshooting new and existing complex tools and workflows
- Strong understanding of production processes and artist workflows in film and animation
- Strong skills in Python and VEX
- Good understanding of rendering concepts (Ray Tracing, Shaders, Tech AOVs)
- Good understanding of 3D data formats (VDB, Abc, USD)
- Ability to work independently and rigorously
More :
- Good command of French and English
- Experience integrating tools into existing or new pipelines
- Strong knowledge of Houdini scripts (HOM, HScript, HDA)
- 3D mathematics (linear algebra, matrices, quaternions, projections)
- Experience in C++
- Good understanding of Maya
- Good understanding of Gaffer / Katana
