Job Opening: HR Manager / Lead HR

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • You lead the HR team
  • You will work closely with the board and management on the strategic realignment of the human resources department
  • You will develop new recruitment strategies that are suitable for a fast-growing, dynamic medium-sized company
  • As a senior HR expert, you will conduct job interviews with top talent. You are directly involved in the implementation of effective and fast application processes, know the latest trends in talent acquisition and develop effective strategies for hiring new top talent in specialist areas and for management positions
  • You lead and support various cross-company HR topics and projects (e.g. change management, organizational development, performance assessment)
  • You will develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy and ensure policies and standards are adhered to
  • You oversee human resources administration and payroll
  • You will maintain close, professional, pragmatic and solution-oriented collaboration with all relevant stakeholders at all times, especially with the works council and Yoozoo
  • You are involved in personnel planning, controlling and reporting

Qualifications & Skills:

  • University degree in human resources management, law, psychology, business administration or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 6 years of experience in all relevant aspects of human resources management (e.g. recruiting and staffing, organizational planning, performance management and improvement systems, organizational development, employment and regulatory compliance, development and training, policy development and documentation, salary and benefits administration, Employee support and advice).
  • Excellent knowledge of labor law, the Works Constitution Act, the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and related principles, as well as all applicable laws and regulations in the areas of compensation, benefits, health and safety.
  • Experience in dealing and negotiating with employee representatives and works councils.
  • Management/leadership experience in the human resources department with a strong service nature is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of SAP HR or similar software packages.
  • Technology affinity in terms of various HR-related tools. Experience with Personio is an advantage.
  • Good sense of tact and diplomacy, reliability on confidential topics.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and decision-making skills combined with assertiveness and practical skills.
  • Creative, independent thinking skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written German, knowledge of English is an advantage.
