Job Opening: Experienced Video Games Designer
Location: Remote (UK/Europe)

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from concept to execution, ensuring a focus on mental wellbeing, education, and wholesome experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate creative vision into compelling gameplay mechanics, narrative elements, and interactive experiences.
- Utilize Unity and other relevant tools to prototype and iterate on game mechanics, features, and systems.
- Conduct playtests and gather feedback to iterate and refine game designs for optimal player engagement and satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in game design, incorporating innovative ideas into our projects.
- Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on design principles, methodologies, and techniques.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Video Games Designer, with a portfolio showcasing successful game projects.
- Extensive in-engine experience, particularly with Unity.
- Adept at rapid prototyping and iterative design processes.
- Strong understanding of game mechanics, player psychology, and user-centered design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate and advocate for design decisions.
- Passion for creating games that promote mental wellbeing, education, and wholesome experiences.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
