Job Opening: Senior Unreal Programmer
Location: Ossett, Wakefield, England, UK
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Write robust, optimized, and maintainable code to support iterative feature development.
- Collaborate productively within a large multi-disciplined project team, to ensure we satisfy game requirements and quality.
- Mentor others on your team as required.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
- Research tools, techniques, and processes, and provide constructive feedback on how they can benefit the team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience with Unreal Engine.
- Excellent C/C++ skills.
- Professional experience working on published console/PC games.
- Strong debugging, profiling, optimizing, systems design, and 3D math skills.
- Knowledge of development tools such as Visual Studio and understanding of version control systems.
- Organized thinking when breaking down tasks and documenting.
- Knowledge of multiplayer and online game development is desirable
- Knowledge of Unreal’s Gameplay Ability System (GAS) is advantageous
