Job Opening: Production Manager
Location: Milan, Italy
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Weekly production schedules’ creation and update for each department
- Daily update of work priorities depending on the deliveries requirements for each department
- Weekly meetings’ driving and establish production reports
- Check, follow and update quotas follow-up for each department, and individual performance reports for each artist
- Optimisation of the material and human resources deployed on the production
- Daily follow-up and communication with partners involved in the production, in France and abroad
- Report of the encountered issues on the production line
- Request and contracts validation, assistance and follow-up of talents recruitment for the production needs
- Absences tracking and assistance for the team members’ salaries check
- Assistance to the cross-production departments (Finance, Legal, Operations, HR, IT/Technology, and others) to make sure the production needs are met
- Coordinates on-boarding of the new team-members
Qualifications & Skills:
- At least one experience in CG series production follow-up
- Good knowledge of the pre-production and CG production process
- Acquaintance with Shotgrid
- Strong positive-communication skills with the team, with an open attitude to giving and receiving feedbacks
- Ability in supervising, scheduling and leading production teams across multiple departments
- Strong experience in working with international broadcast networks and managing client relationships
- Experience in managing given budgets and schedules
- Strong experience in troubleshooting regarding production pipeline and workflow methodology knowledge
- Excellent understanding of a 2D & 3D digital animation Pipeline, processes, and workflow methods
- Strong understanding of business reporting & presenting information
- Exemplary organisational skills including an excellent ability to understand workflow and keep an eye on the big picture while also maintaining a focus on details
- Applied understanding of asset tracking software e.g. Excel and Shotgrid
- Familiarity with flowchart creation software, desirable
- Confident when working into an English-speaking environment
