Job Opening: HR Manager / Lead HR
Location: Hamburg, Germany
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Leading the HR team
- Work closely with the executive board and senior management on the strategic realignment of HR.
- Develop new strategies in recruiting suitable for a fast-growing, agile mid-sized company
- As a senior recruiting expert, you will lead recruiting conversations with top talent. You will be hands-on and involved in building effective and fast pipelines in recruiting, know the latest trends for attracting talent and develop effective strategies for hiring niche and top senior talent.
- Lead and contribute to various cross-company HR issues and projects (e.g., change management, organizational development, performance reviews)
- Develops and implements an overall HR strategy and assures adherence to policies and standards
- Supervise HR Administration and Payroll
- Maintain a close, professional and pragmatic, solution-oriented working relationship with all relevant stakeholders at all times, especially the works council and Yoozoo
- Participate in human resources planning, controlling and reporting
Qualifications & Skills:
- University degree in the fields of Human Resources, Law, Psychology, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
- +6 years of solid knowledge of all relevant aspects of HR Management (e.g. recruiting and staffing, organizational planning, performance management and improvement systems, organizational development, employment and compliance to regulatory concerns, development and training, policy development and documentation, compensation and benefits administration, employee services and counseling)
- Excellent knowledge of Labor law, Works Constitution Act, GDPR (data protection-related law), and related principles, as well as all applicable pay, benefits, health, and safety laws and regulations
- Experience in handling and negotiating with employee representation and Works Council manners
- Management/lead experience in the HR department with a strong service character is preferred.
- Good knowledge of SAP HR or similar software packages.
- Technology-affine about various HR-related tools. Experience with Personio is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good sense of tact and diplomacy, reliable when it comes to confidential topics
- Highly developed influencing, negotiating, coaching and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, and decision-making skills, combined with assertiveness and hands-on-mentality
- Creative, independent thinking skills
- Fluent in written and spoken German, English is a plus.
