Job Opening: 3D Weapon Artist

Location: Madrid, Spain

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality 3D models of weapons based on concept art and design specifications.
  • Ensure weapons are visually consistent and aligned with the game’s art style and overall vision.
  • Collaborate closely with riggers and animators to implement and test weapon rigs and animations within UE5.
  • Model and texture assets.
  • Collaborate with the Art team to ensure consistency and quality in weapon design.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • +3 years of experience modeling and texturing high-end weapons and hard surface models.
  • Knowledge of 3D software such as Autodesk 3D Studio Max, Maya, or Blender.
  • Knowledge of Zbrush and Substance Painter.
  • Ability to optimize assets for functionality and performance.
  • Ability to adapt to pipelines, workflows, technical requirements, and art direction.
  • Experience with game engines in Unreal Engine or other engines.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.

​ Nice to have:

  • Solid knowledge of real weapons and/or mechanical systems.
  • Fusion 360 workflow is a plus.
