Job Opening: 2D FX/Compositor
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Compositing various assets (animation, BG stills, 3D element sequences, etc.) into finished footage, and adding various 2D or 3D effects, the camera moves, lighting, texturing, etc. as necessary, then exporting/uploading for editing.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Mandatory: highly proficient with Adobe After Effects: this includes layering methods, various visual effect techniques (adding smoke, fire, explosions, water, dust, etc.), camera moves, lighting effects, etc.;
- Essential: comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Animate and Adobe Photoshop;
- MUST understand layering concepts and how to extract assets.
- Asset: 3D Blender experience could be helpful;
- Essential: knowledge of the use of file formats for export and compositing.
