Job Opening: Roto Prep Supervisor
Location: Thrissur, Kerala, India
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- QC’s internal shots to a high level and QCing external resource work – eye for detail
- Proactively troubleshoots and solves problems; works independently, and provide guidance for team members
- Attends production meeting; complete corrections/revisions based on feedback and partner with compositors to complete shots
- Able to provide estimates for workflow and schedules; delivers high quality of work under tight deadlines
- Train, mentor, and support Junior staff
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years experience working on major live-action (realistic) feature films
- Applications are invited from candidates who are willing and able to work from office
- Must have good communication in Tamil & English and interpersonal skills to work with Clients and other departments.
- Strong understanding of the process and techniques.
- Knowledge of industry-standard software like Nuke, Silhouette, Photoshop, etc.
- Ability to supervise and manage a team.
- Ability to create and manage schedules, allocate resources, and meet project deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to spot and solve problems quickly
- Good leadership qualities to mentor and train junior artists.
