Job Opening: Junior Environment Artist
Location: Kraków, Poland
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Assist in modeling, texturing, and optimizing 3D assets for real-time rendering.
- Collaborate with senior artists to create 3D game environments, props, and assets.
- Create basic environmental elements like simple architectural structures and small props.
- Support the art team in asset integration and bug fixing.
- Maintain organization of project files and assets.
- Stay updated on industry trends and software tools.
- Continuously improve skills through self-learning and training.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
- Basic knowledge of texture creation and mapping techniques.
- Understanding of real-time rendering and game engine workflows (e.g. Unreal Engine).
- Familiarity with 2D and 3D art fundamentals, including composition, and color theory.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow art direction.
- Basic understanding of asset optimization and performance considerations.
Nice to have
- Experience with sculpting software like ZBrush.
- Familiarity with photogrammetry techniques.
- Understanding of level design principles.
- Basic knowledge of scripting and automation in 3D software.
- Knowledge of architectural design concepts.
