Job Opening: Unreal Engine Lead Technical Artist

Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Production, IT, and Senior Management to provide input for the budgeting process for real-time elements of a project.
- Build creative technical solutions to fit project needs utilizing Blueprints, C++, or Python for Virtual Production or Full CG linear animation.
- Work closely with the Pipeline team to develop new and existing content pipelines for use in Unreal Engine.
- Work closely with the other Unreal Technical Artists and Pipeline team to understand project needs and provide insightful technical feedback.
- Live operation of Unreal Engine during Virtual Production sessions.
- Implement, develop and review tools and engine features within our VFX & Animation pipeline.
- Testing and developing new software features and staying up-to-date on the latest developments in Unreal Engine.
- UI and Tool development in Blueprints and/or Python.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in working with Unreal Engine for Games, Animation or VFX
- 5+ years working within an applicable industry (Games, Animation, VFX, Arch-Viz)
- Experience in Unreal Blueprints
- Experience in Python (with C++ a bonus)
- Advanced knowledge of Maya and other DCCs (Houdini, Substance, Nuke)
- Full understanding of 3D rendering pipeline and the needs of each department
- Experience with common API’s; Maya, Nuke, Shotgun
- Experience working with source control
