Job Opening: 3D Artist
Location: Malmö, Sweden
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality 3D assets and materials in line with the project’s artistic and technical direction
- Evaluate models, textures and materials to optimize and meet performance requirements
- Iterate and improve your work according to received feedback
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the consistency and the correct integration of art into the game
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience working in the video games industry. Preferably you should have experience of multiple game development cycles.
- A portfolio of work demonstrating a high-level of artistic quality with a strong focus towards assets/props and materials. Ideally your portfolio includes hard surface work and sci-fi themed assets/environments with a more detailed/realistic style.
- Expert 3D modeling and texturing skills
- Experience of asset creation working with Unreal Engine 4/5
- Ability to realize props and environments from concepts, reference images and art briefs
- Good understanding of limitations in real-time game asset creation
- Team player with a professional attitude and work ethic
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills (English)
Will be a plus:
- Traditional art skills and 2D skills
- You are passionate about games and familiar with game development processes
- You are a fan of dark sci-fi such as Alien, Blade Runner and the Thing, and futuristic anime such as Ghost in the Shell, Akira and Blame
