Responsibilities:
- Pipeline Design and Architecture:
- Collaborate with departments to align pipeline design with production requirements.
- Create the production pipeline’s structure, encompassing asset management, rendering, version control, and data exchange.
- Tool Development:
- Develop custom tools, scripts, and plugins to boost production efficiency.
- Create UI-based applications and command-line scripts for automation.
- Integration of Software and Services:
- Ensure seamless integration of various software applications.
- Optimize industry-standard software integration with vendor collaboration.
- Asset Management:
- Establish efficient systems for storing, organizing, and retrieving digital assets.
- Implement version control for asset management.
- Render Farm Management:
- Design tools for efficient rendering task distribution across a render farm.
- Quality Control and Testing:
- Ensure tool and pipeline stability through rigorous testing.
- Resolve technical issues during production.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create comprehensive documentation and tutorials for team members.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends and enhance the pipeline accordingly.
- Gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Collaborate with various departments to tailor the pipeline and tools to their needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, PHP, C++, Javascript, Jquery, and relevant scripting languages.
- Solid knowledge of MySQL, Postgres, and Django web frameworks.
- Expertise in software integration and API usage.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Effective time and priority management.
