Job Opening: Production Manager
Location: Helsinki, Finland
Type: Contract (3-12 months)
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Line Producer and Production Coordinator(s)
- Oversee and be responsible for departmental schedules, supporting and collaborating with the Production Coordinator(s)
- Supervise and motivate the production team, highlighting any concerns to the Line Producer and HR if necessary
- Supervise and delegate responsibilities to the assigned departments’ Supervisors, Coordinators and Assistants
- Manage/Track the artists’ quotas and deadlines
- Manage/Track approvals and deliveries to clients and broadcasters
- Support the Line Producer in the candidate selection process and performance management
- Provide coaching and mentoring to the team as required
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in production in at least a coordinator position
- Good ability to communicate with clients, co-production partners, service providers as well as the crew at the studio in a friendly, likeable and professional manner
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- An understanding of the 2D animation production pipeline, knowledge of file formats and asset management
- Ability to create breakdowns from scripts
- Ability to express themselves clearly in person and in writing, both in numbers, words and images
- Ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team
- Ability to take direction and to take initiative
- Ability to work under schedules and deadline
