Job Opening: Digital Matte Painter

Responsibilities:
- Creating high-quality digital matte paintings and backgrounds in both 2D and 3D.
- Collaborating closely with the Art Department, Lighting, and Compositing teams to maintain the visual continuity and aesthetics of our projects.
- Utilizing artistic skills in color, lighting, composition, and perspective to enhance the environment.
- Translating concept art and storyboard ideas into a final, polished piece of art.
- Using a variety of software tools, including Photoshop, Maya, to create artwork.
- Meeting project deadlines and maintaining a high level of work while dealing with the pressures of multiple tasks and project schedules.
- Share techniques, reference materials, and ideas with the team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- A thorough working knowledge of Photoshop and a solid understanding of Nuke.
- Strong artistic and graphic skills.
- A good understanding of the backend process.
- Strong knowledge of camera focal lengths, a good sense of composition and an understanding of different output requirements.
- Knowledge of Maya and surfacing packages is a plus
- Creative problem-solving skills.
