Job Opening: Shader Artist
Location: Paris, France
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Work with the art team to create high quality shaders and textures for characters, environments and objects in a stylized art direction
- Collaborate with developers to ensure the technical sustainability of the shader systems implemented
- Evaluate new techniques and technologies to improve production workflows
- Provide technical support to designers and developers to resolve issues related to shaders and textures
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for the tools and processes used by the art team
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar position, with a specialization in stylized shading
- Solid experience in creating shaders, textures and materials
- In-depth knowledge of software such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Maya, Substance
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as HLSL, Python, C# or MelAbility to solve problems and communicate about them
- Good teamwork skills
