Job Opening: Senior UX Designer
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Support immersive gaming experiences by developing intuitive control schemes and UX flows.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and interactive design mockups to communicate design concepts and gather feedback.
- Write documentation and guidelines to help the team make better decisions.
- Provide user experience expertise to continually improve our games and develop junior UX designers on the team.
- Continually evangelize user-centered design within the project, department, and studio.
- Collaborate with your teammates to help define an exciting vision and well-prioritized feature roadmap of a better player future.
- Work to ensure that our features are accessible and inclusive to all types of players.
- Participate in design critiques and offer constructive feedback to other designers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 4+ years’ experience in game development, including at least one shipped title or product in a UX Design role.
- Broad knowledge of UX Design best practices and tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask effectively and partner across a large project.
- Positive, professional attitude. Self-motivated to advocate for the needs of the player and game-wide experience.
- Passion for games and ability to articulate that passion clearly and analytically.
- Open-minded, with a knack for inspiring others and building consensus.
Pluses:
- Previous experience with Unreal game engines (UE4 or UE5)
- Experience in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proven track record in AAA games or on large project teams including remote teammates.
- Experience in UI art or tech, system or content design, or other areas of game development.
- APX (Accessible Player Experiences) Certification or similar Accessibility training or experience.
