Job Opening: 2D Cut-Out Animator
Location: Guadalajara, GDL, Mexico / Remote
Type: Full-Time
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree, diploma, or any relevant certification in the field of animation
- A strong demo reel demonstrating the animation fundamentals will always be considered nevertheless
- 1+ years in any TV/Film animation production
- Experience working on team projects
- Work alongside fellow animators under the guidance of a supervisor and/or lead artist
- Engage in team meetings
- Strong Toonboom Harmony skill is a must
- Additional knowledge in Flash, After Effects, or any cut-out-minded software helps
- Basic ShotGrid operational fluency is also useful but not mandatory
- Technical expertise in other facets of animation like rigging, scripting, or layout would be a welcome additional attribute
- Strong understating of the fundamentals of animation
- Ability to adapt to production stylistic guidelines and to a fast-paced work environment
- Good communication skills (English basic fluency is a must. Operational Spanish fluency also is an additional bonus)
